2/4/19 Weekly Reflection

Feb 4, 2019

We greet you in the name of our Lord Christ Jesus.

May the light of the Holy Spirit of our Lord, the Lord of love, mercy, and compassion shine upon all of us and may He grant us the knowledge, patience and wisdom to understand the richness of His teachings and missions which are intended to nurture our hearts and our lives.

“Today is holy to the LORD your God" (Neh 8:9)

" Let love be sincere" (Romans 12:9)

True love commits sacrifices for the sake of others in God's love.

Consecrated. Solemnly

Each day we submit to you, O Lord,

All our souls and all our being

For, we know you are with and in us

In ev'rything we are doing and serving

When we wake up ev'ry morning, O Lord, each day

Thanks be to You for watching over me,

You are by our sides, always.

In temptation or in uncertainty.

When anxiety and trouble crush down on us

And darkness conquers over our mind and vision

You are the guiding light for us to see,

Shining forth to our direction and destination.

Each day, O Lord, thanks be to You,

All protection, graces, and blessings, you're planting

Into our thoughts, our dreams, and our planning

Into our heart and our ev'rything.

Each day, O Lord, we lift up our pure heart,

And in our souls, our gratitude and sincerity,

Our sincere prayer and meditation, to You

The wholeness of us, consecrated, earnestly

Yes, the wholeness of us, consecrated, completely,

To you, in ev'ryday of our lowly lives

You gift us love, you gift us wisdom, abundantly,

You gift us vision of eternal light.

Though if our worldly lives could span thousand and thousand years

Still, how could we repay, O Lord, how could we repay?

For, our lives are blessed with Your fullness, always

Like the sun rising in the East each morning

Like ocean waves dancing to the shore endlessly,

You are O Lord, you are the blood flowing in our hearts,

The air we are breathing ev'ry second.

How can we live without you, Lord, how can we live without you,

Like river water longing to the ocean

Like fish and water, bees and flowers, inseparable,

Yes, in separable!

For Your sake, O my sweet Lord, we are conforming

Conforming our will to yours

Carrying our crosses to serve you and your children

Walking your way humbly and blamelessly

as a representative for you, O Lord,

as a representative for you until the end of our time.
