Sunday Child Care Ministry

The goal for Sunday Childcare is to make young people's experience of "Church" a positive one. The program provides nursery for infants and toddlers with free play & Bible activity for 2 to 4 year olds at the 9:15 and 11:15 Masses on Sundays.

Room size is limited to no more than 15 children. While not required, parents are encouraged to volunteer on a two-month rotating basis. At least one room will always be open. With parent and youth volunteers, additional rooms can be opened. In addition, parents and youth can volunteer to staff drop-in nurseries for Holydays. Registration forms must be completed for all children using the Sunday Childcare Program. All volunteers must be cleared through the diocese and the state Child Protective Services. In addition, all volunteers must participate in the "Protecting All God's Children" (VIRTUS) program.
