Ministers of Hospitality
Welcomes the people to Epiphany, distributes Orders of Worship, assists with the collection, ushers at Communion time, and distributes Parish bulletins as people leave the Church.
Desired Skills: Friendly, helpful people including high school students who are willing to serve.
Commitment: Minimum 1 year

Lector
Proclaims the scripture and leads the General Intercessions and announcements at weekend liturgies.
Desired Skills: A love of scripture and the ability to proclaim it in a way that enables the assembly to hear and appreciate the readings.
Commitment: One reading every 4 or 5 weeks, with attendant preparation.
Training: Participation in an annual training workshop is required.

Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, EM
Assists with distribution of Communion under both species at weekend Liturgies.
Desired Skills: A Catholic with a deep love of the Eucharist and a desire to serve.
Commitment: You will be asked to pick your Mass preference and serve at least every third Sunday. We are asking for a 3 year commitment renewable on a 1 year basis.
Training: Two, three hour sessions. First session includes an overview of the ministry and detail on the mechanics involved in the distribution of the Eucharist with opportunity for practice. The second session includes a review plus a tour of the church and detail on your role in the purification process.

Ministry Team Lead, MTL
Responsible for the coordination of an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist Team. This includes making serving station assignments at least a week before your assigned Liturgy and conducting an organizational meeting before each Liturgy.
Desired Skills: A Catholic with a deep love of the Eucharist and a desire to assist with the behind the scenes organization of Epiphany's Eucharistic Ministry. One year of service as an active member of a Eucharist Minister. Highly organized.
Training: One, three hour session with follow-up as required
Commitment: 3 years, 1 year renewable

Mass Coordinator, MC
The Mass Coordinator is responsible for all activities, before, during and after Mass that occur off the Altar.
Desired Skills: This job requires that the individual have good people skills, understands the sequence of the mass and it is important that he or she be a Eucharistic Minister.
Commitment: Once a month at one mass and help during the holidays, and special masses as well, at times, funeral masses.

Head Minister
Assists with preparation of the vessels and Altar area for weekend liturgies, assists at weddings and funeral "if available"
Desired Skills: A Catholic with a deep love of the Eucharist and a desire to assist the Presider at Mass. One year of service as a Eucharistic Minister. Highly organized with the ability to complete taksts in front of large groups.
Training: Two, three hour sessions with individual follow-up required.
Commitment: Due to training requirements we are asking for a 4 year commitment
renewable on a 1 year basis.
