COVID-19 Precautions from the Diocese and Epiphany
Mar 13, 2020
Until further notice, Bishop Knestout has granted a dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days to the following persons most susceptible to the effects of the Corona virus/COVID 19: those 60 years of age or older; those with chronic illness; and those with immune system deficiencies. The dispensation is also extended to those caring for people who are presently ill or who assist those in the three groups indicated.
For the protection of Epiphany parishioners of all ages and to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we have made several cancelations and changes to our parish schedule. All Elementary Religious Education, Sacrament Prep Classes, Life Teen and Edge classes, and youth ministry activities have been temporarily cancelled. Classes and youth activities will resume on Sunday, March 29. The Lenten Fish Dinner scheduled for Friday, March 27, has also been cancelled. All other activities and ministry meetings will continue as usual unless you are told otherwise by your ministry leadership. Weekend and daily Masses and Eucharistic Adoration will continue as scheduled. Please be assured that we are monitoring the situation, and as changes occur, we will update our website and Facebook, and share information via email. Thank you for your understanding during this time of uncertainty. We pray that you and your loved ones will remain in good health.
