8/12/19 Weekly Reflection

Aug 12, 2019

We greet you in the name of our Lord Christ Jesus.

May the light of the Holy Spirit of our Lord, the Lord of love, mercy, and compassion shine upon all of us and may He grant us the knowledge, patience and wisdom to understand the richness of His teachings and missions which are intended to nurture our hearts and our lives.

"Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, as you attain the goal of [your] faith, the salvation of your souls." (1 Peter 1:8-9)

Life is like an ocean.

Usually, it's calm, sun shine, nice breeze. But many times it rains, thunderstorms hurricanes or even earth quake, or tsunamis.

Regardless how many of these ups and downs we are facing in our lives,

Regardless how much sufferings or pain or anguish fall upon us, just have faith and put trust in our Lord God.

Because regardless who we are, and whether we know it or not, God is always with us, He walks with us on our journey of life and many, many times He picks us up and carries us in his loving arms, protects us, nourishes us through these storms and hurricanes of life.

Have faith and place our trust in God.

Faith is NOT about when everything turning out fine.

But faith is about being fine no matter how or what things turn out

So, eventhough we do not see Him now, beleive in Him and have faith, and we will attain and know the ultimate joy of salvation
