Fair Trade
Fair Trade is a ministry of awareness and support for fairly traded goods, including coffee, tea, and chocolate offered for sale in the Commons on the first full weekend of each month. Also, handcrafted items from around the world are offered for sale during our Fair Trade Bazaar, in November. If you would like to be part of the team that prepares for the Bazaar or for weekend coffee sales, please join us. There are no meetings to attend, and the time commitment is limited. If you have a few minutes to spare before and after Mass, once a month, then this ministry may be for you. To learn more, visit serrv.org or https://shop.equalexchange.coop.
Gateway Homes
Gateway Homes is a residential facility in Chesterfield County offering supportive services for adults with various intellectual disabilities. Residents attend Epiphany functions and ministry members host four parties a year at the Gateway campus. To learn more about Gateway, visit gatewayhomes.org

In partnership with local organizations, parishioners provide Christmas gifts to families in need. Planning begins in October. Planners, table-staffers before/after Mass, gift sorters and delivery drivers are needed.
HELP Program: Help with Emergencies and Long-term Planning
Commonwealth Catholic Charities, CCC, provides professional financial and housing counseling to support clients in their efforts to build assets and reach financial stability. The Dibert Food Pantry at CCC receives food donations from Epiphany four times per year. Volunteers are needed to assist in the food pantry and to triage phone calls for assistance. Visit cccofva.org for more information.
St. Teresa Ministry
St. Teresa Learning Center was started with the help of the parents, teachers and children from Kassunga, Uganda to provide quality integral education to local children particularly the orphans, children from single parent families, poor children and children with special needs. We strive to build a firm foundation for the successful future of the children who attend St. Teresa Learning Center. Mission trips in July/August.
Legislative Advocacy
The Virginia Catholic Conference is a Diocesan effort to provide information and advocacy on social justice issues. Signup to receive email alerts about pending legislation, to learn the church’s position, and then to discern how you will respond to your elected officials. Make your voice heard. Visit vacatholic.org for more information.
Outreach Sunday
Each month, this parish ministry collects food and special needs requests. Donations are distributed to area organizations and schools. Volunteers are needed to sort and deliver the donations once a month. See the bulletin or weekly email for more information.
Prison Ministry
There are three different ways to participate in Prison Ministry at Epiphany.
• State Farm
Prison Ministry
(Deep Meadow)
- Volunteers lead prayer services for incarcerated men and women at nearby Department of Corrections facilities several times a month. Participants are needed for each ministry.
• OAR (Opportunity, Alliance and Reentry of Richmond) - Working with OAR, Epiphany provides assistance to offenders, their families, and/or children, through our Gifts from the Manger, at Christmas.
• KAIROS Prison Ministry is an ecumenical retreat ministry for incarcerated men. Homemade cookies are needed for two retreats each year.
Miracle Meals Program
